BBQ Chicken.. The Ultimate Way

Another Reason to LOVE Tyler

I do hope y'all tried my #1 Cookie Recipe as I did (over and over again!)

This week I did the Ultimate BBQ Chicken and I will say this: WOW!

I have never done a brine or (you may want to sit) baked chicken on the bone. I know; How is that possible right? Well, I hate to deal with meat as a whole but meat on a bone... that's too much for me. I feel too primal and yucky doing it. Guess I am either a vegetarian inside or a princess... or perhaps both. I will say that if I do this recipe again I will do boneless chicken breasts. I think everyone in my crew would like that better. The BBQ sauce was perfect.

This recipe is the ULTIMATE. The smell is sooo amazing. A definite repeat for me.

The entire recipe can be found here. Till Next Week Ladies!

Yes, I tried and loved those cookies! Visit my blog for the review ~

I think I like the excuse of being a princess as far as not liking meat on the bone. I'm going to use that from now on.

But I will try the barbecue sauce - it looks so good!

I hate dealing with whole chicken. Why I can deal better with the breast is beyond me but. Good barbecue is always a winner with me though.

Boy does that looks good and adding a bacon rollup to the sauce is such a good idea.

I love BBQ unfortunately it does not like me, so I eat in every once in a while. But will certainly try this recipe.

Your chicken looks really good and I'd love to try one! I'm so glad to hear someone else has issues with raw chicken. I feel the same way. Then I feel like I have to sanitize the counter, the sink, the garbage. I was a vegetarian for 7 years and I like meat, but it is hard for me to see it raw and then eat it. Just call me wacky!!

Thanks for sharing this! It was fabulous to see it all cooked up first. Now I'm craving BBQ chicken. What's a cook to do?? LOL! The brining idea works on all poultry (especially turkey), and pork chops as well. Have fun!

I don't like meat on the bone either, too complicated. I bet thes would also be great with some boneless chicken thighs.
